If you haven’t been reading the news, then you might not know about the Asteroid Heading Towards Earth in 2032. Estimates say that the chance of striking the Earth are roughly 1 in 43. As it gets closer, we will know more about its size and trajectory. We have estimates now, but the coming months and years will tell us more.

The Event That Will End All Life As We Know It (TEOTWAWKI)

Killer Asteroid Heading Towards Earth in 2032

At this time, it’s unlikely that this event will end life as we know it on Earth. However, if the asteroid heading towards Earth enters the atmosphere, it could destroy buildings due to the concussive force it generates, even if it burns up before impact. If it does strike the ground, it would create a large crater and potentially kill anyone within several miles. The impact may also release tons of dust into the atmosphere, possibly leading to a mini ice age. We can prepare for such scenarios, including a strike aimed at Los Angeles, if we receive sufficient warning.

I’ve been considering how one might survive the concussive blast from the asteroid heading towards Earth expected to impact in 2032. One possible strategy could be to lie face down with your feet pointing towards the impact site. This position may offer some protection, but it would still likely cause significant pain and could result in long-term damage. While it’s essential to protect your head, your legs, arms, and hands could be severely injured. I’m not sure how far away you would need to be to have a chance of survival.

It is believed to be that if the Asteroid were to strike the Earth, it would leave devastation going out to around 30 miles out from the impact site. Also its more likely to hit water than land. Possible Tsunami?!!

Mind-blowing Asteroid Heading Towards Earth in 2032

We have about 7 years time to do something about the asteroid. It was discovered in November 2024, so time is on our side, as long as we aren’t focussed on just politics and what this person or that person has done in our or their government, now. But at this time (Feb 2025), we can’t know where the asteroid heading towards Earth will hit, where it will enter the atmosphere, nor for that matter, if it will even hit the Earth.

Currently, we estimate about a 2.3% chance that the asteroid will enter our atmosphere, with reports varying from 1.2% to 2.3%. As more information becomes available, accuracy will improve. The asteroid, known as 2024 YR4, is expected to strike on December 22, 2032. While NASA considers the chances of a collision “extremely low,” the probability has been rising since its discovery weeks ago. Its size is estimated to be between 130 and 300 feet wide, based on the amount of light it reflects.

  • Experts emphasize that while the asteroid is large enough to cause localized damage, the likelihood of a collision remains low, and there is no need for public panic.
  • NASA and the European Space Agency are actively monitoring the asteroid’s trajectory to ensure public safety and preparedness for any potential impact.

Jupiter, our savior

Many people may not know that Jupiter plays a crucial role in reducing asteroid and comet collisions in our solar system. Its immense gravity well helps keep most debris from striking Earth, even when Jupiter is far away on the other side of the solar system. This protective influence is one of the key reasons life on Earth has been able to evolve. While Jupiter doesn’t completely eliminate the risk of large asteroids, it does significantly reduce it.

What can be done about Asteroid 2024 YR4?

Surprisingly, the only thing we know is being done right now about the Mind-blowing Asteroid Heading Towards Earth in 2032, is China is planning a mission to strike it – possibly with a nuke. This would push it away from an impact with Earth. The Asteroid 2024YR4 is on a scale at 3 of 10. It’s worrisome, enough to have scientists watching and studying it, but not to plan anything. But its better to plan for something and not need it, rather than to sit in wait and not plan anything – hoping another country will do something.

What I find most interesting is that China is taking action regarding the asteroid heading toward Earth in 2032, rather than the U.S. Space Force. If the asteroid appears to be on a collision course, China has plans to divert it. While this may not be an immediate concern, it’s worth considering what to do if a kinetic impact fails and the asteroid continues on its path. Our best hope is that it will miss completely, and we’ll hear confirmation of that in the coming months.
